Secure thoughtful, earned media coverage for clients; build relationships with local, trade, and national reporters, and devise and suggest story angles that showcase our clients’ products, services, and thought leadership
Media train clients and provide support prior to interviews
Craft compelling press releases, bylined articles, blog posts, social media posts and other written content that aligns with our clients’ messaging and voice
Stay on top of industry trends; develop a firm personal understanding of issues, processes, terms, products, and regulations specific to clients’ industries
Develop and deploy strategic plans for award submissions, conference appearances, speaking opportunities, and media relations campaigns
Actively engage and communicate with clients, demonstrating confidence and preparation
Have access to and gain competency with industry tools like MuckRack, NewsWhip, and more, as well as utilize productivity tools in your day-to-day work (like AI utilization)
Assist with reporting; communicate the value and impact of our work to clients
Train and mentor junior staff
Requirements
An undergraduate degree
Two to four years of PR, journalism, or marketing experience
