Role Overview
- Receive and make phone calls for quotes, policy issuance, service, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals for commercial insurance
- Make solicitation calls to prospects
- Advise clients and affiliated agents on selecting required coverages and protections
- Analyze submissions, make external inquiries, and enter insurance transactions into the computer system
- Make independent decisions within an individualized authority limit
Requirements
- College diploma in Insurance and Financial Services
- Valid Commercial Insurance Agent certificate from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF)
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial insurance experience
- At least 6 courses from the CIP or FCIP program of the Insurance Institute of Canada
- Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written
