Role Overview

• Answer incoming calls
• Respond to pertinent incoming emails across warehouse departments: All emails need to be addressed by close of business each day.
• Issue Management System : Log all issues into the Issue Management System with details. Follow up on each issue and ensure there is a resolution, report resolution to Issue manager.
• Modify invoices based on customer service requests: Correct any customer order address discrepancies. Modify customer delivery times/dates. Same day delivery requests from sales.
• Direct external inquiries to proper department/s Sales/Accounting requests
• Supply trucking companies with the information pertinent with their deliveries to ensure delivery is made.
• Communicate with the returns department pertaining to the availability of inventory for customer orders.
• Coordinate with the Inventory Control, Fleet and Sales teams to ensure that the order has the correct delivery date.
• Point of contact for ensuring that any disruptions whether it's due to holidays, weather, or unexpected delays like mechanical issues are communicated across all relevant groups.
• Additional duties as assigned by management: In addition to all duties mentioned this position primarily focuses on both internal and external customer services but may also be required to undertake additional duties as assigned by management.
• Support special projects or initiatives as directed by management.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including reports and documentation.
• Participate in process improvements or other operational needs.
• Be adaptable to taking on new tasks or responsibilities as the business evolves.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to be on your feet for the majority of your shift
• Ability to operate material handling equipment (Training will be provided)
• Basic computer and math skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills are key
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Safety: Ensuring the complete physical safety of oneself and one’s co-workers at all times without exception.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Strong communication skills
