Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts.
Manage network security technologies, such as firewalls, to include implementing rules, segmenting networks, troubleshooting issues, and updating technologies.
Monitor and administer endpoint protection solutions, such as end point protection or anti-malware.
Monitor vulnerability management systems and report status of vulnerabilities to technicians.
Manage and monitor identity management solutions.
Conduct threat research and assess cybersecurity practices.
Implement, monitor, and troubleshoot encryption technologies, such as VPN.
Develops and maintains technical documents and flow diagrams for the department.
Apply cybersecurity expertise in assessing and addressing applications, systems, networks, and hardware.
Occasional in-state travel required with occasional evenings and weekends.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Advanced understanding of networking fundamentals
Ability to troubleshoot problems and implement effective solutions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must work well in a team environment
Broad range of LAN/WAN and desktop knowledge with a security focus
Network Protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF etc.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
4 plus years of experience as a Network Security or related IT field
Minimum of 4 years with Microsoft Windows Server, Windows, & TCP/IP
Minimum of 2 years experience with a VMware ESX server environment
Minimum of 2 years experience with a MS SQL environment
Minimum of 2 years experience with Linux
