Lead and manage Infrastructures’ market expansion across all markets, geographies, disciplines, and services aimed at strengthening our package of services
Understand market drivers and changes and develop innovative solutions to address these changes to increase Stantec’s profitability and market share
Develop high performing networks of internal and external relationships to expand strategic teaming
Bolster cross-geography and cross-BOU line communication and outcomes with regards to growth initiatives and account management practices
Collaborate with the Office of the Chief Growth and Innovation Officer (CGIO) to align corporate programs and Infrastructures’ needs and opportunities
Identify the most significant growth opportunities for Infrastructure and participate in rolling out the corporate strategic growth initiatives
Support the growth of new business opportunities by leveraging corporate campaign funding to invest in market opportunities that align with our growth initiatives and global mega trends
Lead the identification and support of the top 20 strategic pursuits
Drive results and grow our key client accounts
Identify strategic hire/bundled needs to drive key growth areas
Develop strategic priorities for potential acquisitions that will contribute most significantly to the advancement of the Infrastructure BOU revenue, diversification of services and/or geography
Achieve minimum client
and proposal-specific marketing and business development (M&BD) sales goals
Requirements
Exceptional understanding of the North American marketplace, service offerings, and competitors in the A/E industry
Proven success in securing new service offerings and growing revenue and market share
Ability to solicit, compel, and negotiate with prospective firms and strategic hires to join Stantec
Strong strategy, change management, and communication skills to lead and support integrations for the BOU
Ability to lead, inspire and assemble teams with a strong entrepreneurial and innovative approach
Ability to translate visionary guidance into strategic planning and tactical execution
Proven leadership on significant projects and pursuits
The strengths, experience, and drive to effectively lead, challenge, and inspire the leadership group and team members to work together collaboratively as a multidisciplinary, global team
Highly organized and self-motivated, and resilient when under stress
Success driven, enthusiastic, collaborative, and possess the highest degree of integrity
Ability to travel across North America and globally as necessary
A Bachelor's degree and professional registration/certification in your field of practice, as applicable, with a minimum of twenty years of relevant work experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering practice
