Ensure assigned projects' commissioning activities are performed with high quality and follow all safety policies.
Responsible for coordination and management of EPC contractor personnel, OEM start-up personnel, third-party start-up contractors, and operations personnel on site, as it relates to site commissioning and startup.
Responsible for project reliability at operational turnover with plants exhibiting as little lost time in initial operation.
Responsible for compliance with all project contractual documents to include Power Purchase Agreement and Large Generator Interconnect Agreement deliverables with local utility.
Ensure Transmission Operators and Independent Service Operators make the interface to ensure project energization dates are achieved.
Manage Client's onsite commissioning personnel.
Work with project's designated safety, engineering, and quality control parties.
Requirements
6+ years of experience in on-site project support for renewable power generation project construction start up and commissioning
3 years' experience minimum working for an EPC in renewable power generation project construction start up and commissioning
Electrical construction and commissioning means and methods knowledge including NEC and NFPA
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) integration and troubleshooting
E&I controls and instrumentation installation, startup and troubleshooting
Protection and Controls implementation and troubleshooting
Review drawings quality control inspection and Progress reporting
Outlook, PDF edit, Word, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), document control systems and PowerPoint
Manage third parties and suppliers
Manage direct report team members
Schedule and planning understanding
