The Business Intelligence Lead serves as a strategic leader responsible for setting the enterprise vision for business intelligence and guiding cross‑functional teams in the development and use of data‑driven insights.
Advises executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance and acts as a strategic partner in shaping and prioritizing enterprise data initiatives
Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks and works under minimal supervision.
Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action to advance strategic objectives and facilitate the completion of key cross‑functional deliverables.
Requirements
Undergraduate degree
Minimum 8 years of technical experience in data reporting and analytics utilizing Power BI or similar tools
Minimum 2 years of experience in leading business intelligence strategy AND/OR processes
Experience contributing to or leading the development of BI roadmaps, data governance frameworks, or enterprise analytics strategy
Experience working with large and complex data sets within large organizations and/or the analysis of healthcare data
Experience analyzing data to solve a wide variety of business problems and create data visualizations that drive strategic direction
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams and translate requirements between business, project management and technical projects or programs
Excellent communication and presentation skills to include the ability to communicate and present technical/financial details to Senior/Executive level leadership and/or Senior Government officials
Demonstrated ability to influence strategic decision-making and drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups
