Role Overview
- Maintaining the accounts receivable and payable systems
- Entering all transactions into accounting system accurately
- Creating and processing invoices to external stakeholders
- Responding to customer inquiries relating to the invoice and payment process
- Matching invoices with purchase orders and ensuring appropriate approvals
- Process cheques, wires and EFT’s on a weekly basis
- Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
- Document new and updated processes
- Deal with a high volume of transactions
Requirements
- Post-secondary education and a combination of commercial or business experience with training in an accounts payable role
- 1+ years accounts receivable accounting work experience is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an asset
- Knowledge of written and spoken English is required in this role
