Deliver a defined capstone project with assistance from senior engineers, scientists, planners, and other professionals.
To support this goal, interns may be asked to: Support implementation of remedial investigations/feasibility studies and design evaluations
Conduct research and analysis around prospective clients, trends, strategies, industries, activation needs, etc.
Assist with field planning, data analysis, and report writing
Assist with research and data entry for new business initiatives
Partner to complete field sampling activities in-water and/or on land, project field documentation and supporting preparation of figures and tables for project deliverables
Conduct field activities, including collection of sediment, soil, water, air, waste, or biota samples or other field tasks
Complete OSHA HAZWOPER training as required
Update documents, calendars, schedules, weekly statuses, etc.
Requirements
Current undergraduate or graduate students majoring in a field related to one of our areas of expertise: Engineering (coastal, geotechnical, environmental, civil, water resources, etc.)
Environmental Sciences
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to interpret and apply technical information
Excellent organizational skills
Project management mindset to effectively manage priorities and meet deadlines
Desire to work collaboratively with others to accomplish goals
Balance of a professional attitude while having fun
