Role Overview
- Lead and manage the nuclear fleet’s fuel reliability program
- Evaluate fuel mechanical design and manufacturing process changes
- Performs oversight of the fuel vendor’s fuel fabrication
- Manage nuclear fuel fabrication contracts and serve as lead fuel vendor interface
- Serve as technical consultant to management on fuel reliability, fuel mechanical design, and fuel fabrication oversight
- Develop and enhance automation tools to standardize processes and reduce errors
- Execute advanced engineering projects requiring original concepts and minimal precedence
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Familiarity with Python or other object-oriented programming languages
- Strong analytical and modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
- Strong understanding of NRC regulations.
