About this role

Compile amounts owed to a client and input figures into the accounting system
Maintain up-to-date billing system and generate/send out invoices
Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, and credits/collections are applied
Perform daily cash management duties, including recording of bank deposits and updating cash receipt logs
Prepare analytical and ratio analyses relevant to A/R for management
Respond to inquiries from customers/clients and research/resolves concerns or discrepancies
Support other accounting and finance team members
Compliance with applicable healthcare and security regulations

High School Diploma or GED
2-4 years in healthcare finance, accounting, treasury, or related field
In-depth understanding of the field's concepts and principles
Ability to read, understand, and apply state/federal laws, regulations, and policies
Ability to communicate with diverse personalities in a tactful, mature, and professional manner
Strong knowledge in accounting and/or finance
Strong knowledge of Outlook and Great Plains software or equivalent Enterprise Resource Planning software
