Responsible for generating sales of Micro Technologies to both existing and new customers within an assigned sales territory
Plans and makes sales calls, understanding and selling unique values of all technologies
Builds long-term mutually beneficial relationships with Dairies and heifer development yards, consulting veterinary practices, consulting nutritionists, and state livestock associations
Presents and demonstrates new technologies to customers and educates them on the features, advantages, benefits and value of each product
Quotes prices and credit terms based on target margin objectives, prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
Ensures orderly transfer of customer relationship to appropriate customer representative
Compiles and maintains targets lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree with one to three years of outside sales experience is required
If candidate does not have a Bachelor’s degree than a minimum of ten years’ related experience is required
Excellent interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills and a proven ability to sell are necessary
A valid drivers’ license and good driving record are mandatory.
