Provide support to individuals and their caregivers by coordinating, supervising, and providing behavioral services.
Services will be provided from a strengths-based lens, utilizing evidence-based practices including of Trauma Informed Care, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Skill-Based Treatment.
Work with individuals with various diagnoses including behavioral health, intellectual/developmental disorders, and autism spectrum disorders.
Conduct functional behavioral analysis and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, naturalistic teaching, and adaptive life skills.
Oversee the programming of and provide ongoing support and supervision to Behavior Technicians (BTs).
Provide clinical training supervision to behavior specialists.
Provide training and support to parents/caregivers related to skill acquisition and behavior support plans.
Responsible for coordinating care across environments and with other treatment team and family members.
Requirements
Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Social Work, Education, or related field.
Experience working with children/adolescents with a variety of psychiatric and/or behavioral disorders, including those on the autism spectrum.
BCBA certification in good standing.
COBA (Certified Ohio Behavior Analyst) certification in good standing or ability to obtain COBA certification within 3 months of hire.
Ability to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR
adult, child, and infant. (Training will be provided, if not already certified).
Ability to obtain and maintain physical crisis intervention training (as required by program).
Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and in writing.
Ability to provide BACB supervision to other BCBA candidates and RBTs.
Valid Ohio Driver's License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance; insurable driving record (five points or fewer).
