Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various MEP projects in alignment with project requirements, timelines, and budgets.
Oversee the technical work of project teams and provide guidance to staff.
Collaborate on electrical designs and coordinate work within the Mazzetti team to successfully deliver projects from conception to execution.
Engage with clients throughout the project lifecycle including participating in client meetings, presenting technical proposals and progress reports, and addressing technical concerns or inquiries.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of experience in building electrical systems design (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Professional Engineer (PE) license
Strong project management experience, with the ability to drive projects from conception to completion
Comprehensive MEP design system knowledge
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations governing electrical designs
Experience meeting and consulting with clients to drive successful project outcomes
Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to oversee the technical work of other team members.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred: Healthcare and hospital design experience strongly preferred
Proficiency in electrical design software such as Revit and/or AutoCAD
