Act as the primary planning lead, working with our Decision Road strategy team, analytics, and activation team to build comprehensive, full journey audience and channel plans
Maps priority audiences across the journey to key business objectives, building integrated audience frameworks connected to larger measurement and outcome targets
Leads team in data-driven channel planning work, building client-facing recommendations on the best allocation of budgets across all channels to reach objectives
Partners with analytics to ensure channel and audience frameworks are built based on latest performance data
Partners with Sports and Culture/Content teams to build unified briefs laddering tentpole programs to overarching channel plans
Sustain trusted, productive working relationships with senior client leads to encourage future growth and profitability.
Maintains a deep knowledge of the client’s business challenges and opportunities and is considered a vital extension of their team.
Develops strong working relationships with client’s other agency partners including Creative, PR, Experiential, etc. as needed.
Leverages industry experience and internal Agency relationships to develop points of view on the media landscape, including trends, best practices, media innovations, competitive activities, etc.
Partners with internal agency staff to provide strategic support and guidance for clients.
Manages budgets for clients, ensuring clear visibility into spending, pacing, and tracking budget changes across teams
Attends appropriate business/social functions that enhance the image of the Agency, reveal growth opportunities or solidify Client relationships.
Partners with analytics on post-campaign analysis and reporting, translating results into actionable recommendations for future initiatives.
Mentor and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration among strategy, investment, analytics, and creative groups.
Build strong relationships with media vendors, publishers, and technology partners to maximize campaign impact.
Ensure ongoing training and development for team members in media strategy and execution.
Serve as the senior point of contact for client media strategy, providing thought leadership and proactive recommendations.
Requirements
10-15 years of professional experience, preferably with a Media Agency.
Understanding and owning the development, nurturing and growing of client relationships
High-level knowledge of the Media industry landscape, including innovations, trends, and best practices
Strong writing, presenting and storytelling skills, including senior-level presentations to clients and internal partners
Ability to translate complex concepts for executive-level understanding
Ability to lead strong relationships with intra-agency partners and other specialty teams
Entrepreneurial spirit with strong problem-solving skills
Financial oversight and ability drive management of a profitable P&L for an account
Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire cross-functional teams of varying sizes
Demonstrate grace under pressure and able to lead teams in a high-pressure, ever-changing environment
Advocate for the Agency at industry events, outside activities, recruiting opportunities, etc.
