Contributing to the development, optimization, and validation of firmware for high-performance embedded control systems in welding, plasma cutting, and EV charging applications
Uses engineering principles to solve complex problems in mixed-signal embedded systems
Designs and implements firmware in C and/or C++ for microcontrollers and digital signal processors
Applies an understanding of digital controls and signal processing to implement and tune compensators, filters, and real-time control routines
Leads or contributes to hardware bring-up, debugging, and prototype evaluation
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
5+ years of experience developing embedded firmware using C/C++ and real-time operating systems
Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
