Independently operate various instruments including GC’s, Viscometers, Digital Density Meter, Dean Stark and particle sized analysis for Petroleum Plant Operation
Perform sample preparation
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
Deliver high quality analytical data accurately and on time
Efficiently handle glassware and equipment for extractions, refluxes and preparation
Maintain proper calibration, quality control records and routine maintenance procedures
Execute daily troubleshooting methods of analytical equipment
Ensure adherence to Bureau Veritas’s policies, certifications and accreditations
Actively participate in Bureau Veritas’s Health and Safety Program (meetings, near miss and incident reporting, hazard assessment)
Requirements
Minimum Education: Diploma in related field (Required)
1-3 years of experience in related field (Required)
High level of work production in fast-paced lab environment.
Can involve the repetition of the same process.
Requires patience, tenacity and persistence.
Flexible working hours, overtime and shift work
May involve long periods of standing
Some lifting and carrying (up to 40 lbs)
Hazardous materials are handled using established safety procedures and appropriate equipment.
