The Revenue Management team is responsible for maximizing ticket revenue on every flight, every day, within the JetBlue route network.
Plan and test implementations of revenue management theory and effect improvements on current business processes to enhance system-wide revenue performance
Design and execute controlled fare tests to study customer price elasticity of demand
Query and analyze passenger ticketing data to gain market knowledge, and leverage that knowledge to inform future pricing decisions
Effectively communicate revenue performance and competitive market dynamics to fellow crewmembers, managers, and above
Provide cross-functional support to other teams including Sales, Network Planning, Loyalty, Travel Products, and Marketing
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research or a related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
One (1) year of experience in an analytical role in a revenue management, yield management, pricing, or directly adjacent role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as quantitative critical thinking skills
Demonstrate analytical reasoning with the ability to tackle complex problems
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Word
Ability to work cross-functionally, collaboratively and under pressure
Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
Must pass a pre-employment drug test
Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
