Provide customer service by answering the 954-INSURES line to assist consumers with the Florida KidCare application process
Serve as the local source of customer service information for community-based organizations and consumers in Broward County
Distribute Florida KidCare materials to community organizations, schools, childcare providers, places of business and civic leaders
Assist in stocking and having readily available large quantities of all Florida KidCare materials
Attend community events and provide educational presentations to the community about the Florida KidCare Program
Update database and electronic logs by typing in data for incoming calls, client services, applications submitted, events attended, and materials distributed
Requirements
A valid driver's license, free of major infractions
Minimum of three (3) years of customer service experience over the phone or in person
Experience conducting community outreach
Able to work evenings and weekends as determined by program needs
Experience facilitating community presentations (preferred)
Experience working with Federal Eligibility Programs (preferred)
Experience with Microsoft Office programs (preferred)
Experience working with social service programs (preferred)
Bilingual, fluent in English/Spanish or English/Creole (preferred)
