The Account Executive Intern supports the company’s core business and assists account management teams by executing day to day tasks for the successful movement and completion of client projects.
The work consists of publications and medical communication projects (including digital and print materials) that support the dissemination of pharmaceutical and biotechnology data.
Proactively assist with the movement and tracking of assigned projects in an accurate and efficient manner
Update internal status reports on a routine basis by independently assimilating details from the information flow on a project(s) or account(s)
Update client status reports or elements of client status reports, as required by independently assimilating details from information flow on a project(s) or account(s)
Draft and distribute weekly action lists based on understanding of project status
Draft and update timelines based on understanding of optimal project steps
Save appropriate project related communication to the shared drive
Works within agency specified program with efficiency and accuracy
Accurately assist with the financial management associated with assigned account(s)
Obtain project hours and coordinate budget development as directed
Assistance with financial spreadsheet maintenance
Works within client specified programs, and understand the compliance-related requirements for client standard operating procedures
Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal and external parties in a fashion consistent with Lumanity’s client service standards
As appropriate, communicate proactively and clearly with client or other external parties (e.g. faculty, authors, etc) as directed by account senior
Work within the client chosen publication technology program; maintain project status, bibliography and other client assigned tasks
Is aware of the principles of good publication practice, and identify the need for guidance in certain situations
Develop and own an overarching master project from concept to delivery, with two presentations to a leadership committee
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Must be a rising senior or graduate at an accredited college or university.
A strong career interest in healthcare communications, advertising, life sciences, and/medicine
Must have relevant classes, experience, and/or internship experience
Should be highly organized with an ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and simultaneously handle multiple projects with total accuracy and attention to detail
Should be able to meet deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
Must thrive in an environment of rapid change
Must be able to commit to a rigorous 8-week schedule (running from Jun 6, 2024 to Aug 1, 2024 working Monday-Thursday with Fridays off)
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
