Analyze requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to provide relevant feedback
Create detailed, clear, and well-structured test plans
Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools
Identify, document, and track bugs
Perform regression testing following bug fixes
Develop and apply test processes for new and existing products
Collaborate with internal teams (developers, product managers) to define prerequisites
Monitor and analyze debugging process results
Investigate root causes of non-conformities
Track and improve quality assurance performance metrics
Stay up to date on testing tools and strategies
Requirements
Significant experience in software quality assurance
Experience in an embedded software environment
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
Knowledge of Python
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Ability to write clear, concise, and understandable test plans
Practical experience with black-box and white-box testing
Assets: software development experience, web application testing experience, familiarity with automation tools (pytest, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.), knowledge of IP protocols, video knowledge (SDI, ST 2110, H.264, H.265, WebRTC, etc.)
