Design, build, and maintain automation for the deployment, configuration, and ongoing management of on-premises and cloud firewall platforms.
Develop automation to support network segmentation and policy lifecycle management, reducing manual and error-prone operational tasks.
Build workflows to automate infrastructure maintenance, including routine health checks, upgrades, and operational validation.
Implement solutions to enforce configuration standards using templates or baselines, and monitor for configuration drift over time.
Integrate automation with network and security platforms using RESTful APIs.
Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows systems that support automation and security tooling.
Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts and services, applying best practices for logging, error handling, and maintainability.
Read and interpret API documentation and integrate with internal and external services.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automation and infrastructure code.
Use Git-based workflows for version control, collaboration, and code reviews.
Partner with cross-functional engineering and security teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 4 years’ experience in network engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
6 years’ experience in network engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
Certification in Security+, Network+, GISF, GSEC, CISSP, or CCSP,
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related area and 2 years’ experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects.
Proficiency in Python programming, Linux, and Windows operating systems.
Experience interacting with RESTful APIs and understanding HTTP methods (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH, DELETE).
Familiarity with asynchronous programming concepts (e.g., async/await).
Experience with network/cloud segmentation platforms and strategies.
Experience automating infrastructure maintenance or operational workflows.
