About this role
Role Overview
Establish and maintain strong category management discipline across Real Estate, Integrated Facilities Management (IFM), and Travel & Expenses (T&E), including clear strategies, sourcing roadmaps, demand management levers, and performance metrics
Ensure clear line of sight to global strategy, providing seamless alignment with all regional, segment specific and global business requirements.
Ensure effective category governance, including alignment to Procurement policies, approval frameworks, contract standards, and Kimberly‑Clark Code of Conduct requirements.
Lead and maintain end‑to‑end visibility of category performance, risks, savings delivery, and commercial obligations, providing transparency to stakeholders and Procurement leadership.
Drive a structured check‑and‑adjust cadence to review category performance, supplier outcomes, and market changes, ensuring strategies remain relevant and value is sustained over time while providing clear line of sight to the business.
Identify and proactively manage category‑level risks, including supply continuity, service performance, financial exposure, and reputational risk, escalating as appropriate.
Requirements
Minimum of a bachelor’s degree;
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Procurement Category Management with accountability for large, complex spend portfolios within a global or regional scope.
Minimum of 3+ years of experience managing or supporting categories related to Real Estate, Facilities/IFM, Workplace Services, or Travel & Expense (T&E) strongly preferred
Highly developed business and financial acumen, with the ability to use data, benchmarks, and market insights to support category strategy and recommendations.
Demonstrated experience operating effectively within a global, matrixed organization, partnering across regions, functions, and senior stakeholder groups;
Proven and highly skilled experience leading complex commercial negotiations, delivering strong positive outcomes and managing strategic supplier relationships.
Highly effective stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to partner across diverse functions and perspectives.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignment in complex environments.
Demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly and operate effectively in a highly visible, relationship‑driven stakeholder environment.
Experience engaging stakeholders from working level through senior leadership.
Adept planning, prioritization, and execution skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
