Oversees support of Process Control functions for refinery operations
Maintains ongoing awareness of the needs of the business for process control support
Assists in communicating priorities and reporting progress of assignments to the department and refinery leadership
Works closely with team members and refinery leaders to establish and deliver on work commitments
Maintains awareness of process control scope and engineering work performed by the process control group
Supervises a team of Process Control and Advanced Process Control Engineers
Manages vendor and contractor relationships as required
Provides discipline technical assurance for all work within their scope
Serves as Reviewer/Approver for Control Systems Discipline Management of Change activities
Enforces, Maintains and Develops policies and procedures for routine change within the Control Systems Discipline

A minimum of ten years engineering experience in a refinery or functionally similar environment is required
A minimum of five years experience in control systems engineering
Ability to lead and direct the work of others – typically individual contributors
Working knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts
Knowledge of Microsoft products and experience with engineering software
Advanced reading and writing skills
Ability to perform complex mathematical calculations
Ability to communicate effectively with others, both written and verbally
