Support accurate and efficient financial operations: Record daily financial transactions to ensure information is complete and up to date.
Organize and maintain financial documents so they are easy to locate and review.
Assist with monthly account reviews by checking data for accuracy and identifying discrepancies.
Contribute to reliable monthly financial reporting: Review account balances and compare them with supporting documents to identify discrepancies.
Help prepare schedules or worksheets used in monthly reporting.
Gather and organize information needed for month‑end close activities.
Improve the efficiency of accounting processes: Observe daily workflows and identify steps that could be simplified or improved.
Share suggestions with the accounting team and assist in testing new procedures.
Help document updated processes so they are clear and easy to follow.

Requirements
Current enrollment in a college‑level program with coursework in accounting, finance, business, or a related field that provides foundational knowledge of financial recordkeeping.
Basic understanding of accounting principles, such as how transactions are recorded and how financial documents are organized.
Proficiency with common office software, including spreadsheets and word‑processing tools, to support documentation and basic reporting tasks.
Completion of intermediate‑level coursework in accounting topics such as financial accounting, managerial accounting, or auditing.
Prior experience in an office, finance, or administrative setting—such as part‑time work, volunteer roles, or student organization treasurer duties.
Strong proficiency with spreadsheet tools, including creating formulas, sorting data, and organizing information.
