Manager, High Value At Risk

Role Overview

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 16 high-risk frontline agents
• Provide strategic leadership through coaching and performance management
• Listen to and understand customers' needs and provide collections-related guidance
• Supervise specialized teams and manage collections activities across various products
• Ensure alignment between values and behaviors; promote diversity and inclusion
• Handle complex customer inquiries and analyze customer needs
• Develop action plans and solutions to maximize recoveries
• Act as a subject-matter advisor on relevant policies and regulations
• Lead change management initiatives and strategic projects

Requirements

• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary diploma in a related field
• Knowledge of credit qualifications and associated credit risks
• Extensive knowledge of debt collection laws and regulations
• In-depth knowledge of BMO products and services
• Technical skills acquired through training and/or professional experience
• Analytical and problem-solving skills – advanced level
• Oral and written communication skills – advanced level
• Ability to influence – advanced level
• Data-driven decision-making – advanced level
