Functions as an experienced professional, providing strategic, analytical and/or technical support in developing, implementing and/or administering compensation programs, ensuring practices and programs are market competitive, comply with plan design and applicable laws and regulations
Performs a variety of data and job analyses, identifies trends and business impacts, and recommends proactive actions/solutions/changes
Prepares for salary planning and labor contract negotiations, analyzing and evaluating internal and external data, and making sound recommendations
Requirements
Bachelor's in Human Resources, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration or related field
2 years recent relevant experience
Knowledge of compensation terminology and labor market trends
Knowledge of FLSA, and applicable wage and hour laws and regulations
Ability to compute and apply basic mathematical and statistical calculations
Ability to communicate through verbal and written means
Organization skills and attention to details
Critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to identify and analyze trends/issues and to recommend solid solutions
Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions
Demonstrates ability to influence others by persuasion, problem solving or using data
Ability to prioritize workload to complete assignments accurately and timely
