Role Overview
Define and own the lifecycle marketing strategy across the full customer journey, including onboarding, engagement, monetization, retention, and reactivation
Evolve lifecycle from an email-first approach to multi-channel orchestration with a focus on in-product lifecycle experiences
Translate business and product strategy into clear lifecycle objectives, KPIs, and experimentation roadmaps
Partner with Product and Engineering to design and deliver in-product lifecycle experiences
Ensure lifecycle programs are aligned to product behavior and business objectives
Lead, mentor, and scale the lifecycle team with a focus on quality, business outcomes, and operational excellence
Establish standards for lifecycle planning, QA, testing, and measurement
Continuously raise the bar and support the team to deliver better outcomes
Serve as the primary lifecycle partner to cross-functional teams
Influence roadmap priorities by bringing customer insights and lifecycle performance data upstream
Communicate lifecycle performance and insights clearly to executive stakeholders
Identify and advocate for martech infrastructure needed to scale lifecycle impact
Requirements
10+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or growth marketing with people leadership experience
Proven experience building and running multi-channel lifecycle programs, including in-product messaging
Hands-on experience with Braze or comparable lifecycle marketing platforms
Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams
Strong strategic thinking paired with operational excellence.
