Selected candidate will be responsible for the architecture, development, and delivery of multiple assembly and test fixture engineering design solutions.
This role provides the opportunity to be a technical expert, take ownership of the Special Test Equipment (STE) statement of work from concept design to product delivery, and to be one of the recognized Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) within the team for mechanical assemblies and fixtures.
Pro-actively communicate across teams to negotiate interface requirements.
Provide support to Manufacturing, Procurement, Lab Integration and Test.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline with 8 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 6 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in STEM with 4 years of related engineering experience.
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
Experience with stress and structural analysis.
Experience with LRU fabrication and installation processes with hands-on experience.
