Supporting strategic and space related business programs
Preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
Data gathering and analysis to ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures
Incorporating contractual changes into control systems to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
Setting up cost control systems, monitoring and controlling costs and schedules
Preparing and analyzing financial reports and communicate recommendations to management
Working with the program team to integrate project cost with scheduled activity
Providing monthly/quarterly reporting and analysis to support business processes
Assisting in planning and forecasting program financial performance
Preparing future strategic plans
Serving as a resource to management by reporting and investigating variances
Analyzing business processes and making recommendations to improve process efficiency

6 or more years of finance experience in lieu of degree
Bachelor's degree in related field and 2 years of experience; or Master's degree in related field with 0 years of experience
Knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheet applications and databases (e.g. MS Excel and MS Power Point)
Ability to extract, compile, document and analyze data
Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with others
Possess excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
Independent self-starter and proactive contributor
Seeks to continually improve business processes and add value
Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines
Organize deliverables in a clean and presentable format.
