Role Overview
- perform customer service and communication regarding the Student Health Insurance
- assist in administering the Duke Student Health Insurance and Dental Plans
- coordinate and schedule specialty appointments
- register patients for services in the Student Health Clinic
- assist students with insurance claim rejections and denials
Requirements
- knowledge of basic mathematical, research, and communication principles
- two years of clerical or research experience
- demonstrated experience working with health insurance plans
- prior experience managing or coordinating specialty referrals
- familiarity with healthcare administrative workflows
- preferred: two years or more of customer service-related experience
