Role Overview
- Strategically plan and execute educational events for Abbott customers and stakeholders
- Ensure Heart Failure divisional priorities and business objectives are met
- Manage relationships with vendors to design event elements and acquire meeting space
- Develop communications to ensure awareness and engagement in events
- Manage planning and supervision of outside contractors and payment of invoices
- Document procedures for seamless and compliant program/event execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in meeting and/or event planning
- Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to details
- Strong project management skills
- Track record of proactive problem solving
- Able to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to travel approximately 40%, including internationally
- Strong verbal and written communications abilities
