Support business adoption of collaboration tooling.
Ensure alignment with organizational security and compliance objectives through coordination with EDT teams.
Define and manage governance framework, license strategy, and tooling access for Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Establish and update Microsoft 365 governance plan aligned with enterprise policy, cost efficiency, and collaboration goals.
Lead license planning and budgeting for Microsoft 365, and optimize spend and licensing tiers.
Develop and operate the access-and-entitlement framework for Microsoft 365 services.
Drive governance of Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and collaboration tools including naming conventions, group/site provisioning, guest access.
Monitor usage, adoption, and compliance metrics, identify license waste, and enforce cleanup and cost controls.
Collaborate with business owners, IT operations, security, legal/compliance, and HR to ensure governance policies are embedded in collaboration tooling rollout and use.
Requirements
Bachelors degree or in lieu of a degree, an additional 6 years of professional work experience will be considered.
8+ years of relevant professional experience is needed to be a qualified applicant.
4+ years of experience with enterprise change management processes and techniques.
2+ years of experience defining and executing governance frameworks for Microsoft 365 (or similar collaboration suites), including licensing optimization, access models, tenant management
2+ years of experience with governance controls for collaboration platforms (RBAC, DLP, retention, site lifecycle)
2+ years of experience working with identity and access management (IAM), Azure AD, conditional access, and automation of license provisioning
1+ year of experience with cloud collaboration services, SaaS licensing models.
1+ year of experience in vendor license negotiations, collaboration tooling contracts (e.g., Microsoft, Copilot, enterprise add-ons)
