Environmental Field Manager – Field Based

Role Overview

• Oversee environmental compliance during the construction phase of transmission projects
• Manage daily implementation of the environmental monitoring scope
• Conduct environmental training and field inspections
• Report to the client’s representative and manage monitoring schedules
• Evaluate potential environmental impacts and oversee mitigation measures
• Interact with agency officials and provide compliance documentation

Requirements

• BS or BA degree preferred
• 10 years of relevant construction experience or equivalent environmental inspection or monitoring experience
• 6+ years of environmental inspection, monitoring, or permitting experience specific to linear and/or energy infrastructure projects
• Electric Transmission experience required
• Strong organizational skills
• Proficient technical skills, including Microsoft Office and digital cameras
• Working knowledge of sub-meter accuracy GPS technologies and map interpretation skills
• Knowledge of environmental sampling methods
• Ability to travel extensively and work 40 to 70+ hours per week in physically demanding positions
• Valid driver's license required
