Serve as the deputy to the Program Manager, offering strategic direction and robust leadership to IPTs to align with overarching program goals.
Establish and monitor execution milestones to adhere to master schedules and payment timelines.
Maintain and monitor oversight of critical program elements, including material & supply chain, subcontracts, engineering, and operations, to ensure seamless integration, test, and delivery.
Utilize a comprehensive understanding of EVMS to meet or exceed financial, schedule, and technical performance indicators.
Act as the primary point of contact for the end-user and executive leadership, facilitating transparent communication and achieving contract milestones.
Identify challenges, opportunities, and risks across the program, developing strategies to address them effectively.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of FAA qualifications/certification is required.
Active Secret Clearance, with ability to obtain TS-SCI.
Demonstrated experience in Commercial, Department of Defense, and/or Military Aviation/Aerospace products development and production.
Demonstrated experience managing aircraft integration or aircraft maintenance efforts.
Demonstrated experience in preparation of business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
Demonstrated project management skills, outstanding communication (both verbally and written), negotiation, organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated ability to interface with engineering, manufacturing, operations, and management personnel onsite and offsite.
Demonstrated experience working in an environment that is fast-paced, demanding, with a focus on problem resolution and process improvement.
