Lead high visibility cross functional projects across operations, engineering, maintenance, supply chain, MPL, product management, quality, and distribution.
Build complete project structures: charters, critical path schedules, governance plans, risk registers, and project status updates.
Lead major capital projects including purchasing or installing production lines, ensuring readiness for safety, quality, PPAP, and run at rate.
Run disciplined project cadences, drive accountability, and ensure all team members meet commitments.
Demonstrate full ownership and maintain a high sense of urgency, especially in automotive style environments.
Escalate barriers quickly and drive fast resolution.
Deliver concise executive level updates that clearly communicate status, risks, and next steps.
Tailor communication for shop floor operators through senior leadership.
Facilitate problem solving, root cause analysis, and contingency planning during project disruptions.
Ensure alignment with manufacturing standards (safety, quality, PPAP, run at rate, changeover readiness).
Develop and maintain project plans in MS Project or similar tools, including charters, schedules, dashboards, and closure reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field OR equivalent experience
3–5+ years in a fast paced manufacturing environment, ideally high volume or automotive/tier 1
Project management experience leading complex, cross functional initiatives
Demonstrated ability to manage priorities, meet project timelines, and respond effectively to customer and business requirements in a manufacturing environment
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority to achieve project objectives and deliver results.
