- Assigns appropriate ICD-CM and CPT codes
- Verifies documentation is present
- Participates in continuous coding audit
- Maintains coding accuracy rate of not less than 95%
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Medical coding certification preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-CM (current edition) and CPT coding systems
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
