Collaborate with clients to provide customized State & Local Tax advisory services and work closely with other tax team members to identify and research complex income/franchise tax issues.
Coordinate and lead SALT income/franchise projects including nexus studies; restructuring opportunities; voluntary disclosure agreement proceedings; income/franchise tax compliance; pass through entity tax projects; PL 86-282 studies; and return review for refund opportunities.
Focus on engagement management and operational excellence.
Mentor Associates/Staff team members to help them build inspired careers.
Learn new software and/or help develop standardized templates and tools.
Willingness to learn new tax concepts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Two years of relevant experience required.
Experience in business services or consulting is preferred.
Eligible to sit for CPA exam preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of Income Franchise Tax preferred.
