Security Officer II

Role Overview

• Provides a secure and safe environment
• Responsible for patrolling and monitoring facility premises
• Observes and reports suspicious and unauthorized activities
• Responsible for access control and emergency response
• Renders assistance and security related services to staff
• Investigates and documents incidents relative to the facility

Requirements

• HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
• PSO
• Proprietary Private Security Officer within 30 days of start date
• 1-year recent relevant experience
• General knowledge of the usual duty requirements of a security officer
• Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
• Ability to write incident reports and understand business correspondence
• Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various forms
