Network Engineer

Role Overview

• Provides hands-on execution support for standard network remediation activities under guidance of senior engineers.
• Performs device changes using established runbooks, collects evidence, and supports metrics and service level agreement inputs.
• Execute approved firmware upgrades and configuration hardening tasks following standard operating procedures and change plans.
• Perform pre-check and post-check validations, collect evidence, and document outcomes accurately.
• Support remediation task tracking, follow-ups for failed changes, and coordination of repeat attempts.
• Maintain accurate inputs for reporting on remediation completion, success rates, and schedule adherence.

Requirements

• Two or more years of direct, hands-on network operations experience in production environments.
• Experience working within formal change windows and following documented implementation plans.
• Hospital information technology experience strongly preferred; broader healthcare experience preferred.
• Certifications desirable: Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent.
