Associate Accounting Professional

Role Overview

• Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analyses to support business decision-making
• Manage accounts payable/receivable functions including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and vendor communication
• Support month-end closing procedures including account reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
• Ensure all accounting activities comply with company policies, GAAP principles, and relevant regulatory requirements
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation to support audit requirements
• Effectively use accounting software and financial systems to streamline processes and enhance reporting capabilities
• Work closely with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and address accounting-related inquiries
• Identify opportunities to enhance accounting procedures and implement more efficient workflows

Requirements

• College graduate with BA or BS in Accounting
• 1-3 years of accounting experience in a professional environment
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
