About this role

Responsible for personal safety, the safety of co-workers and promoting a safe work environment; responsible for carrying out all work activities in compliance with state and federal environmental regulations.
Performs their duties in adherence with LYB procedures, standards, and specifications.
Making rounds and assisting with taking readings
Monitoring and maintaining day-to-day unit operations
Learn about health, safety and environmental hazards
Witness the work permit system
Completing mandates safety and regulatory training (Computer-Based Training)
Engage in frequent developmental dialog with supervisor and others to continually enhance personal and group performance and development.
Train in area of assignment

18 years of age or older
High School diploma or GED.
Completion of a minimum of 30 credit hours of relevant technology coursework
Process Technology students may apply if degree was/will be received in the following semesters from an accredited school: Spring 2026, Summer 2026 or graduating in Fall 2026
If student is currently enrolled, they must maintain an overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
