Set up and operate lab instrumentation for test development of mixed-signal application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs)
Support senior ASIC engineers in execution of ASIC verification and testing
Build software and hardware for efficient testing and data processing
Requirements
At least two years of college education in electrical engineering OR computer engineering OR computer science with a background in electrical/computer engineering
Familiarity with programming languages, such as C, C#, or Visual Basic
Familiarity with lab equipment, such as DMMs, power supplies, power generators, and oscilloscopes
Experience with Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Proactive in acquiring new skills and expanding technical knowledge
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred: Strong familiarity with PCBA concepts, such as reading schematics, layout, and manufacturing techniques
Preferred: Familiarity with signal integrity concepts, such as S-parameters, TDR, and impedance
Preferred: Familiarity with embedded systems (e.g. Arduino)
