Ensure efficient operation of all industrial mechanical equipment for the facility
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment in their work area(s)
Maintain all shop inventories, tools and equipment
Create, perform and complete work orders in the system as assigned or as needed
Identify parts needed for work to be done
Document, monitor, maintain, and assist with reporting of shift events
Maintain Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs
May assist with training other plant personnel
Ensure proper food safety sanitation and cleaning procedures of all processing equipment and tools
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Associates degree or technical certification preferred
Two years of industrial or food processing mechanical experience required
Able to perform sound welds in accordance with the qualifications required by applicable welding code, standards, and/or project specifications include wire feed, stick, Heliarc, Oxy-Acetylene and sanitary (food-safe) welds for repair and fabrication required
Must provide required tools (see tools list)
