Provide support to the United States Coast Guard’s Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC), based in Portsmouth, VA, is tasked with maintaining and developing the Coast Guard’s C5I Systems.
C5ISC uses the Mission Support Business Model (MSBM) from the Doctrine for Mission Support, Coast Guard Publication (MS-0).
One of the four MSBM cornerstones is configuration management, which includes Planned Maintenance Support.
Requirements
Technical BS degree from an accredited institution.
2 years of experience in technical writing of electronic systems.
Proficient and qualified to develop, format, proof, edit/revise, produce, and publish Maintenance Deliverables such as Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Maintenance Requirements List (MRLs), & Maintenance Procedure Cards (MPCs,) in accordance with the standards set forth in the contract.
At least 1-year of experience producing all the associated deliverables.
Must be proficient in the use of standard workstations and software (i.e. Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, Zip Files, and Adobe Acrobat, at a minimum).
Must be proficient in Electronic Systems to include able to read Electrical/Electronic Drawings, Allowance Part Listings (APL), and Electronic Technical Manuals.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain a public trust clearance. Active clearance preferred.
