Senior Forward Deployed Engineer

Role Overview

• Lead complex AI-driven Taktile deployments in production.
• Apply your technical expertise and creativity to help organizations address real-world challenges.
• Scope work, sequence delivery, and proactively remove blockers.
• Partner with Taktile’s product management team to turn understanding of customer needs into actionable product insights.
• Develop reusable resources, best practices, and tools to help scale the forward deployed engineering function.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of engineering or technical deployment experience that includes customer-facing work.
• Strong technical background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science.
• Write and review production-grade Python and SQL, and have strong command of REST API design and integrations.
• Excel at breaking down complex problems and making quick, well-informed decisions even under pressure.
• Build strong relationships with both technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
• Collaborative, curious, and low-ego; able to work well across teams.
• Open to a hybrid work model and can work from NYC office at least three days per week.
