About this role
Role Overview
Hands-on lead for small verification test efforts including lab, chamber, ground and flight test with support from engineering
Coordinate with team to create test plans: define unit under test, setup test equipment, identify and install sensors, utilize data acquisition systems, write test procedures, identify entry/exit criteria, host Test Readiness Reviews
Execute system integration and engineering test efforts
Support hands-on troubleshooting and RCCA efforts
Own documentation for propulsion test platform
Perform trade studies on a variety of systems and components
Obtain and maintain any additional clearances as required
Lifting up to 20 lbs
10% travel may be required
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
Active DoD Secret security clearance
System level design experience in which the applicant has been involved in the design and integration of complex hardware/software systems, the definition of multiple interfaces and been involved in the trades of multiple solution options
Hands-on experience being involved in system integration, engineering testing, and system performance characterization
Basic electrical engineering skills, including soldering, cable builds, etc
