Serve as the technical lead responsible for the execution of project work related to water balance, water modeling, and water quality studies, supporting environmental assessment and permitting for large-scale capital projects.
Delegate and provide senior technical review to ensure deliverables meet client expectations for scope, budget, schedule, and quality.
Lead, hire, mentor, and inspire team members to support the long-term success of the technical group.
Provide leadership to expand ERM’s integrated water management services within the U.S. and contribute to growth in environmental impact assessment, land planning, permitting, risk assessment, and water resources management.
Leverage existing client relationships to expand ERM’s market share through exceptional technical performance and business development.
Support business development efforts within ERM’s global impact assessment and planning service area by identifying opportunities, preparing technical proposals, and playing an active leadership role in client engagement.
Actively engage with ERM’s international water resources community; collaborate with global practitioners; and contribute to multidisciplinary project teams across the organization.
Requirements
4+ years (8+ years preferred) of consulting experience in water resource management, impact assessment, and permitting.
B.S. or M.S. in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Strong team-building and influencing skills; high integrity and the confidence to address complex client and business needs.
Deep familiarity with regulatory drivers in the diversified energy, technology, and mining sectors.
Broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices and a high level of technical competence.
Recognized technical expertise and an established reputation with relevant regulatory agencies.
Proven ability to develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
Positive, collaborative mindset and a passion for contributing to ERM’s global success.
Preferred Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across multiple offices or geographies.
Demonstrated involvement in global or international project delivery environments.
