About this role
Role Overview
Accountable for all sales activities from lead generation to closing in assigned territory
Collaborate with internal teams for revenue growth and customer satisfaction
Develop and implement strategic sales plans
Manage a diverse customer territory across various markets
Prospect and establish new customers by managing a robust sales pipeline
Develop proposals and convey Avantor's value proposition to customers
Requirements
College degree or equivalent/applicable experience
2-3 years of experience in a complex sales environment
Proven track record of sales success
Business-to-business sales experience, distribution experience preferred
Scientific background or work in laboratory/research environment preferred
Ability to utilize best selling processes (e.g. SPIN, Challenger, Miller Heiman)
Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Qlikview
