Product definition
Evaluate strategic partnership opportunities and drive their development; define product requirements taking into account market needs, design, procurement and partnership approaches; facilitate development of a commercial model and lead discussions on packaging.
Product strategy and planning
Understand and communicate the product vision; support development of business case analyses and define the product roadmap used in product strategy and planning sessions across the product delivery value chain; monitor progress toward objectives using key performance indicators (KPIs).
Product delivery and launch
Provide descriptions and write requirement definitions for product development; prepare and support product releases; contribute to prioritization of opportunities and trade-offs related to the product.
Growth and portfolio management
Monitor, control and ensure performance, including achievement of revenue and margin targets; manage product offerings to ensure new capabilities meet customer and market needs; collect, analyze and interpret data to draw conclusions and/or present insights and findings to support product lifecycle management decisions, including enhancements and retirements; collaborate with internal stakeholders (for example, data & analytics, sales, etc.) throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
A degree in a related discipline is strongly preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
5–7 years of experience in product management or as a business analyst within a product-focused organization in technology, financial services or data & analytics is required
Demonstrated professional experience with Agile methodologies and/or project management methodologies is mandatory
Experience writing detailed product requirements is fundamental and required. This should demonstrate a solid understanding of what we do, who we do it for, why it matters and how it helps solve problems (RCI)
Proven ability to organize and coordinate efforts in a highly matrixed environment
Demonstrated understanding of delivering cloud-based products and services is highly desirable
Experience with product tools is desirable (Aha, JIRA, Figma)
Experience with design thinking for innovation is an asset (use creative design thinking to develop innovative business solutions; apply creative and analytical tools to create real solutions for real needs, including personas, empathy mapping, prototyping and iterative models)
